The coronavirus caused border closures, social distancing, and self-isolation. But that shouldn’t prevent you from taking up adventures!
It has triggered me to plan (or not plan ;)) lots of micro-adventures in the past months. We might not be able to go back- or bike packing around the world right now, but we can take a walk through the woods, discover new roads within our borders, take the bike for a picknick on the beach or a solo overnight campout.
I would like to share a selection of my adventures. All within the Netherlands, solo or with one or two friends. If you’re interested and inspired, you are also welcome to use my routes from Komoot.
See you out there, somewhere!
Long day in the saddle, but lots of stops to fuel up and rest a bit. Luckily, one of my favorite coffee places ‘Kamu’ in Breda, offers take away coffee!

We renamed ‘Dirty Kanzelled’ to ‘Girly Kanzelled’ because less miles, more fun right?!

Have to admit, we crossed the border once to explore the ‘Hurtgenwald’ in Germany… Not met a single soul during this gravel ride though!
